EFI 102 is a Huge Sucess at T1 Race Development in Dallas, Texas

(PRWEB) January 13, 2010 -- EFI University, T1 Race Development and Injector Dynamics all teamed up to produce the brand new EFI-102 "Advanced Tuning Concpets" class on January 9th, 2010.

The class included some of the most advanced EFI tuning technologies ever offered by a public training facility and was considered by many as the "pinnacle" of high performance engine tuning education.

Topics including "PID control algorithms", Boost Control, Traction Control, and high tech engine mapping methods for extreme horsepower levels that were developed on Tony Palo's world famous 8-second Acura Integra. This was the very first front wheel drive street car to ever break the 8-second barrier in the word and it was used as a live demonstation vehicle during the class!

Paul Yaw, of Injector Dynamics was also on hand to give an in depth presentation about the latest information on fuel injector technology as well as teach about how to properly set up a modern engine control unit to handle fuel injector dead times.

The day began with instruction covering Proportional, Integral, and Derivitive gain settigs using a "live" engine simulator to show the exact effect each parameter has on the device being controlled, such as a boost control solenoid, or an idle control valve. After that Tony Palo's 8 second drag car was strapped on a dyno and a demonstration about how to use P.I.D. settings to dial in the boost control was given. The crowd was very enthusiastic about being so close to such a famous racer and his vehicle.

Students came from all over the globe to attend, some traveling from as far as London, the Middle East, and Jamaica, in addition to various locations from around the USA including Florida, Washington, California, Arizona, New York and many more.

Ben Strader, owner of EFI University said that this class was such an overwhelming success that plans are already in effect to convert the entire course to a video platform where anyone in the world can download via the internet and learn from home.
